Started listening to Kavrila with Rituals III. While I still hold that EP dear, Rituals I is possibly even more intense. This is as joyfilled as puking yourself to death, retching knives and cutting yourself apart from the inside out. The first three tracks form an aggressive, grief-stricken piece of pain, yet they pale in comparison to the highly dangerous and emotionally devastating closer, Night. Hold on to your lacrymal duct or you will lose it.
Also, that guitar tone is just sick as fuck.
Favorite track: Night.

“These four songs radiate an energy so heavily that everything which comes their way will be destroyed.”
Visions Magazine Germany – Demo of the month
"The riffs are fast-paced, deadly and precise as Kavrila kick the living shit out of everything that comes into their way. "
Steve Howe - Outlawsofthesun
"Compressed uncompromisingness with effective power."
Metal Hammer Germany
"Crusher-Parts, proggy chopping, doom moments, Death ´n´ Roll-Edge...all with a remarkable energy level."
Rock Hard Germany
“It’s ethereal in ways that are completely soothing to a tormented spirit, and invigorating for all those who are hoping for something that doesn’t dive into the same tortured tropes of every hardcore band around today.” Puregrainaudio
„Rituals I“ creates fear. This band must stay in our ears.“
Allschools.de
„Rituals I is a straight forward mixture of rancid Metal, Punk, Doom and Post Hardcore. An intensive and more than a decent debut.“
Metal.de
"The quartet combines the aggression of Swedish Death Metal with the inner strife of Sludge and match it with a healthy Punk attitude. Over all lies a powerful Doom-Roller."
Sludgeworm Magazine Germany
“This Demo is far away from the same old story and bribes with its conception. You should keep this band on your radar when you are a Metalhead or a Hardcorekid.”

„Burn the Witches, one by one…“. Spit is the best opener ever. And the rest is just fucking epic. No filler here. Death by Burning is a fucking Monster! Sælzer Bub
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder edoerfler
I love Mantar. Theirs is one of the most impressive live performances I have ever seen: primitive, sweaty and more energetic than most coal power stations. Having such a beloved artist release a new album is always a bit scary, especially after three very strong offerings in a row. Still, Mantar remain untouchable and return with their most accessible (read: 'still kicking you in the balls until your teeth pop out') release so far. Odysseus might be their best song yet. The kings are back. David Fischer
Five veterans bashing out their own new version of post-hardcore; world-weary perspective, fresh, urgent, crackling with feeling. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 13, 2017
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
